Out Pondered the Hare

A collection of poems written in sobriety. Or a Lorazepam fog. A whiskey-infused detour and lysergic-stamped synapses - much of which is about my teenage years in Metro Detroit. All in the hopes that some of this makes sense to those who were not there in those specific instances where there is truth.

Out Pondered the Hare is a collection of poems by Steven W. Simon. Themes include death and dying, youth, relationships, Mario Kart, reflections, and psychology. With this collection, Simon leans on his experiences growing up outside of Detroit. Some good, and worthy of their descriptions. Others, those that focus on struggle, are equally worthy in their own rights.
